Heartburn is a painful pain just below the breastbone in your abdomen. After feeding, in the evening or while lying down or bent over, the pain is always worse.

Heartburn signs include:

A chest burning pain that usually happens after eating and can occur at night.

A pain that gets worse when you lie down or bend over

In the mouth, bitter or acidic taste

Basic blend – massage

Rub a little of the following oil over the upper abdomen:

Cardamom 3 drops
Peppermint 2 drops

Dilute 3–5 drops in 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of carrier oil.
