The essential oils can be used in various methods, so the best way to approach self-defense is to make up a blend of essential oils in a bottle, and then take the drops you need for each method of use when required. Kept undiluted in this way, they will remain active for a much longer time than if diluted. You can multiply the number of drops, but keep the proportions the same:

Antibacterial blend 1
Ravensara | 10 drops |
Eucalyptus radiata | 8 drops |
Niaouli | 5 drops |
Ginger | 10 drops |
Thyme | 4 drops |
Lemongrass | 3 drops |
Antibacterial blend 2
Frankincense | 5 drops |
Ho wood | 6 drops |
Eucalyptus radiata | 8 drops |
Lemon | 5 drops |
Palmarosa | 6 drops |
Antibacterial blend 3
Rosalina | 10 drops |
Lavender | 8 drops |
Geranium | 4 drops |
Lemon | 6 drops |
Palmarosa | 6 drops |
Ravintsara | 10 drops |
Blends 2 and 3 could be added to unscented shower or bath products made using natural ingredients. For baths, add 4 drops of the blend to 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and 1 teaspoon of salt before adding to the water and dispersing well with your hand.
