Whatever the cause, follow the same treatment methods but use the oils that are appropriate to your particular condition. Choose from the oils below to make a body oil, or use one of the following blends. Dilute 5 drops of essential oil in 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of carrier oil. Massage a small amount over the whole of the abdominal area three times a day.
A drink can be made by adding 1 drop each of peppermint and cardamom essential oil to a teaspoon of honey, and diluting it in 3½ fl. oz. (100 mL) of warm water, then filtering it through an unbleached paper coffee filter. Then, take a tablespoon of the filtered mixture and add to a small glass of warm water, and sip slowly. Other essential oils should not be substituted in this method. Ginger essential oil, although not in the Basic Care Kit, can be diluted – 5 drops in teaspoon (5 mL) of carrier oil — and massaged all over the abdominal area. Store the mixture in the fridge, ready for other occasions.
