Being constipated indicates that the bowel movements are difficult or occur less frequently than normal. At some stage, almost everyone goes through it.
While it is not necessarily serious, when your body is back on track, you can feel much better.
The standard amount of time between bowel movements varies widely from individual to individual. Three times a day, several individuals have them. Others only have them a couple of days per week.
However, going more than three or four days without one is usually too long. Your poop gets easier and harder to transfer after 3 days.

Symptoms:
- Few bowel movements
- Trouble having a bowel movement (straining to go)
- Hard or small stools
- A sense that everything didn’t come out
- Belly bloating
